COCO FEST Foods is an exciting new company dedicated to bringing the vibrant, tropical flavors of coconuts to Indian households through a range of high-quality, hygienic food products. The company specializes in coconut-based offerings like creamy coconut milk, indulgent ice cream, concentrated coconut water, and energy shots infused with coconut extracts, all designed to deliver natural wellness and a burst of tropical delight. COCO FEST’s mission is to promote health and happiness by providing nourishing, convenient products while supporting Indian farmers through sustainable sourcing and increased productivity. The brand aims to make its coconut-infused goodness a staple in every Indian home, embodying a dynamic, refreshing approach to nutrition with a commitment to quality and hygiene. My task was to create a comprehensive brand identity for COCO FEST, including a logo, flyers, posters, a pitch deck, and strategic content like vision and mission, to capture the brand’s essence of vitality, freshness, and community focus.

The challenge was to develop a brand identity for COCO FEST Foods that would stand out in the competitive Indian health food market while clearly communicating its unique value proposition. The identity needed to reflect the tropical vibrancy of coconuts, appeal to health-conscious families and young adults seeking flavorful, convenient products, and convey the brand’s commitment to quality, hygiene, and supporting farmers. The design had to be cohesive across various mediums, including print materials like flyers and posters, a digital pitch deck, and potential online platforms, while capturing the energetic and refreshing spirit of the “FEST” concept. Additionally, the strategic content needed to articulate COCO FEST’s vision and mission in a way that resonated with Indian consumers and stakeholders.
Approach
To create the COCO FEST brand identity, I started by researching the Indian food and beverage market, focusing on health-focused and tropical brands to understand trends and consumer preferences. I identified the target audience as families prioritizing hygiene and nutrition, as well as young adults seeking convenient, flavorful energy boosts. Drawing inspiration from coconut imagery, palm trees, and vibrant tropical aesthetics, I aimed to craft a visual and strategic identity that embodied vitality, quality, and community support. I designed a logo featuring a stylized coconut split open to reveal its fresh contents, paired with bold, dynamic typography for “FEST” to emphasize energy and quick consumption. The color palette included tropical greens, creamy whites, sunny yellows, and aqua blues to evoke freshness and refreshment. I created flyers and posters with striking product visuals and taglines like “Taste the Tropics!” to capture attention in promotional settings. A 10-slide pitch deck was developed to present the brand’s story, product range, mission, and market potential to stakeholders. Strategic content, including a vision to nourish Indian households and a mission to empower farmers, was written to align with the brand’s values. I iterated on the designs based on feedback to ensure scalability, readability, and visual impact across print and digital formats, delivering a cohesive and versatile brand identity.
